These are framed words, with a soundwave and a QR code. Scanning the QR code with your smart phone will direct you straight to a webpage with the soundwave that you can physically see and hear.
The example shown is of my stepmother who passed away recently. I had a saved voicemail from her which I cropped to “I love you.” The soundwave shows the vibration of the words. when the qr code is scanned with a smartphone, you will be directed straight to the voicemail. This is an interesting way to add noise to framed art. Feel free to scan the QR code to test it out!
